Is learning to fly difficult?
No.
People of all shapes and sizes and ages and abilities have learned to fly. It’s fun, and, from the beginning of your training, you get to do most of the actual flying!

How long before I can fly solo?
That depends on you.
There is no minimum number of lessons or hours of flight training. You will need to demonstrate a level of proficiency that indicates you can safely fly alone. You will also need a medical certificate and a student pilot’s certificate.

You are eligible if:
- You are at least 16 years old
- You can read, speak, and understand English
